Lucy Mae (Pittman) Payne Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucy Mae (Pittman) Payne of Pasadena, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 20, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Payne; her parents, Norman Pittman and Elsie Pittman; her brother Lorne Pittman; her siblings-in-law, Annie Pittman and Hubert House; her parents-in-law, Guy and Cora Payne; and her siblings-in-law, Alice, Donald Payne, Lawrence and Kenneth Payne.
She is survived by: her son Rick Payne (Deanne); her grandchildren, Ricky and Annika; her daughter Susan (Scott); her grandchildren, Callum and Kieran; her siblings, Carl, Sadie, Coyley (Geraldine), Laud (Irene), Roddie (Glenda), Alonzo and Velma; her sisters-in-law, Bertha Payne, Sarah Payne and Marie Bennett; and her aunt Marie Bennett. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Parson's Funeral Home (63 Main St N, Deer Lake, NL A8A1X1). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Red Cross or Western Memorial Regional Hospital.
