He was predeceased by: his wife Hazel; his former wife Dorothy; his daughter Sheila; and his parents, James Brennan and Mary Brennan.
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Nancy), David (Anne), Doreen, Sharon and Dominic (Lana); his grandchildren, Michael, Neil, Matthew, Ashley, Nicole, Brent, David, Joel, Jason, Jamie, Vanessa, Rob and Katie; his great grandchildren, Kyra, Zavier, Connor, Ava, Oliver, Benjamin, Sam, Jack, Hazel and Alex; his son-in-law Scottie Aldie; and his friend Barb Cornick. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetic Association or to a Charity of One's Choice.
