He was predeceased by: his parents, Mildred Critch and Jabez Critch; his sister Phyllis; his nephew Jabez Critch; his mother-in-law Dulcie; and his siblings, Ralph Ball (Eileen), Mona Campbell (Roy), Cecil Parsons, Dempsey Ball (Yvonne) and Rowena Ball.

He is survived by: his wife Grace; his grandchildren, Adam (Timmi), Laura (Gilbert), Amber and Ashley; his great grandchild Jordan; his siblings, Edward (Betty), Florence and Catherine Critch; his siblings-in-law, Harold Ball, Ward Ball (Ramona), Ivan (Gareen), Dulcie Parsons and Eleanor Ball; and his stepgranddaughter Laura Steeves (Dan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted and/or memorial donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice.
