It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barry James Garland of Pasadena, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Garland and Fredrica Garland. He is survived by: his wife Faye; his children, Bradley (Jessie), Michael (Terri), Shelley (Lee), Shelly (Matt) and Crystal (Scott); his grandchildren, Calista, Finn, Brooke, Avery of Rosie, AJ, Bo and Olivia; his sister Maxine; and his nephews, Ted and Fred. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.

A public visitation will be held at Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue on Wednesday from 7-9 p. m. to a maximum of 30 people at a time in compliance with Covid-19 regulations.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Western Palliative Care Unit or to the Pasadena Community Garden.
