He was predeceased by: his wife Rita Thornhill (Payne); his daughter Elizabeth Thornhill; his parents, James Thornhill and Elsie Goosney (Sidney); his siblings, Samuel Thornhill, Viola Perry (Chris) and Kitty Keough (Edmond); and his brother-in-law Wilfred Caines.
He is survived by: his daughter Leta Wall; his granddaughters, Natasha Wall (Mark Gibson) and Natalie (Daniel Pinsent); his great grandchildren, Niya, Matthias, Neva, Nala and Theo; his siblings, Felix Goosney and Laura Caines; and his sister-in-law Almeda Thornhill.
