He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth; his daughter Brenda; his parents, Charles and Bessie; his siblings, Beatrice, Muriel, Betty and Roy; and his brother-in-law Peter.
He is survived by: his children, Patsy Ryan (Gerard), Alan Butler (Marg), Janet Kinsella (Robert) and Juanita Butler (Kenneth); his grandchildren, Brenda, Rick, Daniel, Melissa, Natasha, Mark, Shane and Wes; his great grandchildren, Nathan, Joshua, Emma, Kaydan, Charlie, Issac, Hudson, Sophie and Owen; his sister Alice; and his brothers-in-law, George (Dolores), Arthur (Betty) and Tom (Judy).
