It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Power of Old Perlican, Newfoundland, who passed away on March 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Baxter Barnes and Louise Barnes; and her stepsister Georgina Burrage (Gordon). She is survived by: her husband Gerald; her children, Tammy (Dave) and Scott Caplin Cove (Tracy); her grandchildren, Mackenzie and Cannon; and her brother Bill (Turenna). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
