It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marguerite Rice (Old Perlican, Newfoundland), who passed away on January 5, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Philip; and her parents, Irene Green and Abraham Green. She is survived by: her daughters, Catherine Hatch (Darrell) and Sonia Tucker (Clinton); her grandchildren, Tyler, Savannah, Brody, Allyah and AJ; her sisters, Gertie LeShane (Don), Sylvia Adams (Gord) and Florence Meadus; her sister-in-law Marguerite D. Rice; and her friend Pat Kehoe (Doll).

Visitation will take place on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Hopkins Funeral Home, Old Perlican from 6:00 pm. to 8:00 pm. according to COVID restrictions and protocol.

As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marguerite's memory to the local Salvation Army.
