It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Barrett of Old Perlican, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 1, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Abbott and Pheobe Abbott; her sisters, Maisie and Myra; and her daughter-in-law Cathy.
She is survived by: her sons, Boyd (Cheryl) and Bryce; her grandchildren, Margaret Ann (Jeff), Robert, Cherie (Glen) and Geoffrey (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Jessica, Daniel, Myles and Eva; and her brothers, Anderson Abbott (Shirley) and Warren Abbott (Marion).
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret's memory to St. Andrew's By The Sea United Church, Old Perlican.
