He was predeceased by: his parents, Augustus Bursey and Evelyn Bursey; his sons, Keith and Carl; and his son-in-law Lester Sparkes.
He is survived by: his wife Kay; his children, Rick (Dolores), Joanne, Jill (Dave), Terry (Tanus), Tina and Craig (Sonya); his sisters, Frances and Eleanor (Ed); and his friends, Bob, Sheryl Bursey, Scott and Melissa Bursey. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Andrew's By The Sea United Church, Old Perlican in Douglas' memory.
