He was predeceased by: his parents, Simeon Pike and Leah Pike; his wife Iris; his daughter Joanne; his close friend Annie Rodgers; and his brother-in-law Oscar Squires.

He is survived by: his grandchildren, Matthew (Delechia) and Samantha (Tyler); his son-in-law Tony Oliver; and his siblings, Chesley (Maisie), Joyce Strong (Lionel), Judy Squires and Nita Hopkins (Wayde).
