She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Emberley and Ethel Emberley of Bay de Verde; and her parents-in-law, Eli and Sarah King of Grate's Cove. She is survived by: her husband Boyd King; her children, Barbara, Don (Madonna), Wayne (Nikki) and Cory (Alexandra); and her grandchildren, Brandon (Sandra), Amber, Patrick, Mary Kate, Victoria, Devon, Colin, Sarah, Summer and Mckinley.

As an expression of sympathy a donation may be made her memory to The Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of one's choice.
