She was predeceased by: her parents, George Puddester and Irene Puddester; her siblings, Louise Rodgers, Judy Bruce and Allan Puddester; and her close friend Jane Hogan.

She is survived by: her husband Edgar Battiste; her daughters, Colleen Haskins (Chris) and Sherry Crann (Roberto); her grandchildren, Emily Irene Lemire, Kevin Ronald Lemire-Crann and Harley David Lemire; and her siblings, Albert Puddester (Betty), Paul Puddester (Linda), Birkley Puddester (Sandra), Lee Pottle (late Stanley) and Susan Rixon (David).
