She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward and Kathleen; and her brothers, Tommy, Edward and Henry.

She is survived by: her close friend Dougald Gillis; her children, Heidi Gillespie (Michael) and Gordon Rendell (Sharon); her grandchildren, Sydney, Conlan and Ethan; her siblings, Douglas (Lena) and Martha (Bill); and her sisters-in-law, Marilyn and Gertie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Due to Covid-19 public health restrictions, the funeral will be by invitation only.

As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations can be made to the North West River United Church or The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
