She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick White; her parents, Clarence Hale and Margaret Lloyd; her brother Tommy Hale; her siblings-in-law, Jim, Bill, Frank, Jerry White, Herb Saunders and Annette Brown; and her nephews-in-law, Darryl and Stephen White.

She is survived by: her children, Robin (Peter), Ian (Leigh) and Phallan (Jody); her stepson Jamie (Christine); her grandchildren, Ethan, Dylan, Reese and Jack; her stepgrandchildren, Ava, Ella and Addison; her siblings, Glennis Gillingham (Gonzo), Gary Hale, Rick Hale (Kathleen), Sherry Lloyd (Dave), Mel Hale (Adriana), Wade Hale (Michelle), Lorna Ellsworth (Eric) and Rodney Hale (Roxanne); her siblings-in-law, Betty Saunders, Loretta Beaton (Frances), Tom White (Joanne), Jack White (Anne) and Reg White; and her close friends, Diane Woodford, Shirley Lambert and Marie Gregory. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Family Home. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the United Church (70 C. L. Dobbin Dr, Gander, NL A1V1W7).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Florence's memory to the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre or the Lewisporte and Area Food Bank.
