She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Gillard and Rowena Gillard of Twillingate; and her sisters, Lucy and Mary Sheppard of Sheppardsville. She is survived by: her husband William Vincent of Newtown; her children, Jim (Penny) of Alberta, Garry (Elizabeth) of Newtown, Bonnie (Doug) of Ontario, Peggy (Jack) of Wesleyville and Glenda (Philip) of Wesleyville; her siblings, Calvin (Deanna) of Ontario and Lillian of Bishops Falls; her grandchildren, B. J., Victoria, Alyssa, Michael, Albert, Ashley, Nicholas and Joshua; and her great grandchildren, Kaylee, Leah, Logan, Christy and Eleanor.
Visitation will take place at Kittiwake Funeral Home, Pound Cove on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 2 P. M. - 6 P. M. by invitation only, according to government COVID guidelines and recommendations.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or to The Daffodil Place , St. John's.
