It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Clifton Howell of Newtown, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 24, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Martha Blackwood and Clifton Howell; his stepmother Marcie Howell; his grandson Daniel Pumphrey; and his brother-in-law Carl Blackmore.

He is survived by: his wife Kate; his daughters, Martha (Tom), Coralie and Nadine; his siblings, Shirley (Ray), Nellie (Ed), Cindy (Clyde), Valeda (Jim), Rick (Anne), Terry (Roma) and Tony (Brenda); his grandchildren, Javy, Katey (Isaak), Tommy (Veronica), Allyson (Tanner), Gabriel, Haley (Garret), Rebecca (Dylan) and Samuel; and his great grandchildren, Elaina, Grayson and Parker.

As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in Leonard's memory may be made to the family.
