It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Tucker of Newtown, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 29, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Gill and Annie Gill; her son Alvin Stanley; and her siblings, Alpheaus Gill, William Green and Daisy Davis.

She is survived by: her husband Stanley; her children, Barry (Heather) of Newtown and Audrey (Alvin) of Newtown; her granddaughters, Christa (Jerry) and Gina (Shane); and her great grandchildren, Landon and Myah.

As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in her memory to the Trinity United Church, Cemetery Fund, Newtown, NL.
