It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clayton William Parsons (Newtown, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 28, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Parsons and Rita Parsons; his wife Bessie; his daughter Rita Doris; and his siblings, Clyde, Gordon, Louise Gill and Dorothy Tucker.
He is survived by: his children, Clyde (Shirley) of Springdale, Clayton Jr. (Darlene) of Sudbury, ON, Susie (Wesley French) of Midland, ON, Ruth (Gordon Marshfield) of Greenspond, Sharon (Robert Morgan) of Paradise, Christine (Randell Goodyear) of Lumsden, Valerie (Paul Burry) of Greenspond, Kimberly Mroue of Newtown and Bonnie (Bruce Bragg) of Fall River, NS. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, 1 great- great- grandson, brother.
As an expression of sympathy flowers are gratefully accepted or donations may be made in his memory to St. Luke's Anglican Church, Newtown or to a charity of one's choice.
