It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carl Chesley Hillier of Newtown, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 18, 2020, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hillier and Louise Hillier; his sister Vina Tulk (Hillier); his niece Jennifer Tulk; and his sister-in-law Minnie Hillier (Fifield).

He is survived by: his wife Judy Hillier; his daughters, Lee-Ann (Jason Mercer) of Bauline and Kristie (Ryan Wicks) of Goulds; his siblings, William Hillier (Judy) of Newtown, Jeanette (Jesse Best) of Valleyfield, Kathleen (Donald Mouland) of Newtown, Doris (Phillip Mercer) of Newtown and Shirley (Lawrence Winter) of Pool's Island; his sisters-in-law, Rev. Roberta Vincent Bungay (Lorne) of Templeman and Norma Vincent King; and also, Tom Vincent (Mildred) of Appleton and Jerry Vincent (Wanda) of Toronto. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-grandnieces and nephews, and a very wide circle of friends.

Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations, visitation and family service will be by invitation only.

As an expression of sympathy donation may be made to the family and a decision on monetary disbursements will be made later.
