Baxter James Gill Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2019, at the age of 82, Baxter James Gill (Newtown, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertram Gill and Eleanor Gill; his son Juan Scott; his parents-in-law, David and Mary Blackmore; his siblings, William, Frederick and Millicent Blackmore (Archibald); his siblings-in-law, Lindburgh White, Allan Norris and Ruby Gosse (Cecil); his niece Suzette Norris; and his nephew Patrick Blackmore.

He is survived by: his wife Sophie; his children, Roma Norris (Charles) of Templeman, Clyde (Patricia) of Ft. Smith, NT., Brent (Gertie) of Newtown, Craig (Bonnie) and Cory (Catherine); his sister Sarah White of Newtown; and his siblings-in-law, Blanche Norris of Gander, David Blackmore (Brenda) of Newtown and Pat Blackmore (Linda) of Newtown. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Luke's Anglican Church, Newtown or to The Autism Society, NL.
