He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvil Pope and Dora Collett Pope; and his brothers, James Pope and Donnie Pope. He is survived by: his wife Johnnie Sue Pope of Cartersville; his sons, Mitchell Pope (Ivalene) and Mike Pope (Stacy) of Cartersville; his grandchildren, Linzie Conatser, Brittany Pope, Brooke Pope, Ivy Pope and Bryson Pope; and his siblings, Marie Lingerfelt of Kingston, Emalene Adcock of Cartersville, Ann Hobgood of Cartersville, Debra Addison of Adairsville, Glenn Pope of Cartersville and Raymond Pope of Kingston.
