It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roland John Hillier (Musgrave Harbour, Newfoundland), born in Brookfield, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 15, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Hillier and Gertrude Hillier; and his sister-in-law Virginia Hillier. He is survived by: his children, Derek (Sheila) of Valleyfield and Joyce Humphries (Herwin) of Pound Cove; his siblings, Clyde of Mount Pearl and Lorraine Hillier (Peter Stockley) of Valleyfield; his granddaughters, Kayla Hillier (Paul Collins), Samantha Stagg (Justin) and Brittany Wiens (Benjamin); his great grandchildren, Spencer Collins, Paige Collins, Colby Stagg and Sawyer Wiens; his niece Karen Parsons (Scott); his wife Florence White; and his granddaughter Joyce.

A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Memorial United Church.
