He was predeceased by: his daughter June; and his parents, Cecil Button and Hannah Button. He is survived by: his siblings, Cecil John, Gilbert, Mark, Beatrice, Charlotte, Alice, Gertie Catherine and Geraldine Hunt (John); his parents-in-law, Percy and Louise Hunt; his siblings-in-law, Edgar George (Maxine), James, Arthur, Gordon (Rosalind) and Joyce; his wife Lucy; his son Quinton; his siblings, Stewart (Cindy) of Mount Pearl, Donald (Classie) of St. John's, Frank (Anne) of Sydney and Frances Pickett (Leslie) of Wareham; and his siblings-in-law, Mae, Roland (Diane), Percy (Amelia), Kenneth (Edith), Wilson (Brenda), Len, Carl (Linda), Lorne (Pauline), Kevin (Bernadine), Ann Matthews (Malcolm), Irene Hunt (Wilfred), Emma Kean (Larry), Arletta and Hazel (Rick).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. John the Baptist Anglican Church (off Church Ln, West St, Bere Regis, Wareham BH20 7HQ, UK BH207HQ). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM.
Interment to follow The Anglican Church Cemetery, Wareham, NL As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations in Roland's memory may be made to The Button Family.
