She was predeceased by: her husband James; her fathers, Thomas Lake and William Strickland; and her parents-in-law, Nathan and Amelia Steele.
She is survived by: her children, Lane (Norma) of Paradise, Sonia Parsons (Rex) of Musgrave Harbour, Anne Lawrence (Louie) of Bon Accord, AB and Carolyn Steele (Chris) of Musgrave Harbour; her grandchildren, Kirk (Barb), Jillian (Dale), Mitchell (Sara), Annette (Jason), Matthew (Sierra), Natalie (Ian), Stephanie (Derrick) and Laurie; and her great grandchildren, Krista, Sydney, Kinsley, Caleb, Thoran and Daxton. She is also survived by 2 brothers, 5 sisters, 1 brother-in-law, 2 sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory to The Salvation Army Cemetery Fund in Ragged Harbour.
