She was predeceased by: her parents, Lena Ackerman and Gordon Ackerman (Andrew); and her sister Edna. She is survived by: her children, Hedley Brown (Rexine) of Indian Bay, Darrell Brown (Sandra) of Centreville, Della Firmage (Wallace) of Trinity, Angela Bursey (Ross) of Dover and Sherry Bursey (Irving) of Dover; her siblings, Roderick Ackerman (Edna) of Trinity, Gordon Ackerman (Tina) of Paradise, Louise Wiseman of Gander, Shirley Gignac (Robert) of Lewisporte and Bernice Seaward of Gander; her grandchildren, Danielle, Victoria, Patricia, Crystal, Kayla, Justin, Curtis, Dwayne, Valarie, Corey and Tyler; and her great grandchildren, Lilly, Rebecca, Logan, Xander, Titus, Colby, Henry, Adien, Griffen, Sienna, Layla and Abbie.
Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations, visitation and funeral service will be by invitation only.
