Shirley Bernice Merner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Bernice Merner (Mount Pearl, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 19, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her son Art; her stepdaughter Ruth Green; her parents, Thomas Bridal and Hilda Bridal; and her brothers, George and Bill.
She is survived by: her children, Nellie (Albert), Bert (Jackie) and Bill; her daughter-in-law Connie Noseworthy; her stepson-in-law Gary Greene; and her sisters, Violet Bastow and Grace Lane. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM. The inurnment will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (799 Topsail Rd, Mount Pearl, NL A1N3J6).
