He was predeceased by: his parents, Miriam Eales and William John Eales; and his brothers, Winston, Fredrick and William.

He is survived by: his children, Mark (Christina), Marty (Michelle), Matthew, Mandy Bryant (Ryan), Jill Barnes (Art) and Dean Mitchell; his grandchildren, Mason, Madison Eales, Marchelle, Morgan Yetman, Portia Eales, Destiny and Austin Bryant; his sister Shirleigh Bowie; and his pet Alaska. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
