Pearl Melvina Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 16, 2025, at the age of 93, Pearl Melvina Smith of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Wight and Effie Wight; her husband Harvey; her siblings, Jean, Doris, Harvey, Chesley, Leonard (Maud), George (Ella), Jim (Madeline), Ralph (Lotty) and Hunter (Gertie); and her siblings-in-law, Jean Morgan, Gladys Hefford and Clarence Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon Warren (Roger), Randy and Scott (Cindy); her grandchildren, Laura, Mark (Kayla) and Jennifer; her great grandchildren, Aidan and Conor; her sister-in-law Jean Wight; her niece Susan Wight; and her close friends, Ralph and Ethel Hiscock.

As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Pearl's memory to First United Church or to a charity of one's choice.
