She was predeceased by: her husband Bert Hopkins; her parents, Lydia Cullimore and John Cullimore; her siblings, Pearl Cullimore and Albert Cullimore; her siblings-in-law, Sylvia Cullimore, Levine Cullimore, Baxter Hookey and Gerald Ottenheimer; and her son-in-law Maxwell Evans.
She is survived by: her sisters, Florence Ross (Don), Winnie Hookey and Alma Ottenheimer; her children, John (Anne Marie), Bill (Jane) and Beverly Evans; her grandchildren, Jodi (Dennis), Paul (Shelly), Alexis (Joe), Shae-Lynn (Robbie), Michael (Emma), Justin (Steffanie), Thomas (Hailey) and Chantal (Kevin); her great grandchildren, Simon, Spencer, Oliver, Frederick, Beren, Ember, Emmah and Bexley; and her caregivers, John and Jessica. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
As expressions of sympathy donations may be made in Nellie's memory to the Canadian Mental Health Association.
