She was predeceased by: her parents, George Briffett and Mary Briffett; and her brother Tom (Theresa). She is survived by: her husband Jim; her siblings-in-law, Randy Russell (Ruby) and Mabel Rusell; her nephew David Russell (Katherine); and her close friends, Jackie Guzzwell, Ellen Clarke, Rosie Fahey, Margret Fleming, Cathy Williams, Wavey Jewer and Elaine Yetman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home - Mount Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Our Lady Queen of Families Parish (110 Ashford Dr, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). The inurnment was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (799 Topsail Rd, Mount Pearl, NL A1N3J6).
