She was predeceased by: her husband Kevin; her parents, Patrick Dillon and Gertrude Dillon; her sister Pasty; and her brother-in-law Gerry Galway.
She is survived by: her son Frank; her daughter-in-law Andrea O'Neill; her grandchildren, Heather and Patrick; her brother Frank; and her siblings-in-law, Bernadette Dillon (Bun), Mary (late David Dancey) and Edward (Marina). She is also survived by nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, and grand-nieces as well as a large circle of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Caul's Funeral Home (84 Lemarchant Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2G8). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of St. John the Baptist (200 Military Rd, St. John's, NL A1C2E8). The inurnment was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (799 Topsail Rd, Mount Pearl, NL A1N3J6).
Over 25 years she displayed her empathy for others, demonstrated her charity, and often in the heat of the kitchen her well known humour and pleasant demeanor.
