It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eleanor Geary (Mount Pearl, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 16, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Geary to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecilia Beehan and James Beehan; her sisters, Bernadette Beehan and Anne Wiggens (late Bryan); her parents-in-law, Nathaniel and Gertrude Geary; and her siblings-in-law, Rosemary O'Brien and Kelly Geary.
She is survived by: her husband Peter; her children, Jason (Emily) and Jenny (Lance); her grandsons, Nathan, Tyson and Knoxx; her siblings, Brenda King (late Derm), James Beehan (Margaret-Ann) and Madonna Pike (late Terry); and her sister-in-law Gayle Geary. She is also survived by cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Homes - St. John's (328 Hamilton Ave, St. John's, NL A1E1J9). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Peter's Parish (110 Ashford Dr, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7).
