It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris W. Simmons of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, who passed away on February 17, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ford and Annie Ford; and her siblings, Elias Ford (Eleanor), Charlotte Spracklin (Doug), Sarah Ivany (Harvey) and Pearl Hill (Jim).
She is survived by: her children, Robert Simmons, Ann Simmons and Michelle Evans (Colin); her granddaughters, Rachelle Savard (Stephen) and Natalie Rideout (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Evan, Nathan, Ian Savard, Brody and Claire Rideout; her brother-in-law Robert Simmons (Monty); and her pets, Chica, Maggie, Tia, Sydney and Snoopy.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home - Mount Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home Mount Pearl Chapel - Mt. Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7).
