David Hayward Stokes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Hayward Stokes of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Stokes, Wendy Taylor (Michael) and Nicole Broeckling (Garry); his close friend Marilyn; and his grandchildren, Catherine, David, Anna (Nick), Jonathan (Emiola), Emily and Chantel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Barrett's Funeral Home - Mount Pearl (73 Commonwealth Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1W7). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1 Ambassador Pl, Mount Pearl, NL A1N5C3).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in David's memory to the First Baptist Church.
