We bid farewell to Carl Winston Strong of Mount Pearl, Newfoundland, born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 28, 2024 at the age of 74. Carl Winston touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard and Elizabeth. He is survived by: his wife Ella; his daughters, Heather Strong (Kate Cooper) and Laura Strong (Danielle Inglis); his nephews, Colin LeGrow and Todd LeGrow; and also Jackie LeGrow (Wade). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Carnell's Funeral Home (329 Freshwater Rd, St. John's, NL A1B1C3). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First United Church (221 Park Ave, Mount Pearl, NL A1N1L3). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the 4th Mount Pleasant Cemetery (53 James Ln, St. John's, NL A1E3H3).
