He was predeceased by: his son Gregory; his parents, Albert and Elizabeth; his sister Florence; and his brother-in-law Gordon Weir.

He is survived by: his wife Audrey; his daughters, Donna (Steve Jordan), Deanne (Darryl Hunt), Susan (Glen Whitten) and Sherry (Kevin Oake); his grandchildren, Andrew, Brandon, Hayleigh (Morgan) and Madeline (Taylor); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley (Frank Ralph), Marilyn (Cal Cooper), Ed Trask (Marilyn), Brad Trask (Sue) and Gary Trask (Denyse). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
