It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Dakin of Mount Carmel, Newfoundland, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dakin and Emily Dakin; and his siblings, Edmund (Nellie), Michael (Catherine), Henry (Marg), Norma Nolan (Jerome) and Florence (Bill).

He is survived by: his siblings, Fred Dakins (Stella) and Marge Smilestein.

Due to the current Covid-19 Restrictions, cremation has taken place.
