It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Hearn of Mount Carmel, Newfoundland, who passed away on February 10, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wade and Catherine Wade; her former husband Robert Downey; her siblings, William, Walter, Richard, Margaret and Teresa; her parents-in-law, Albon and Hilda Hearn; her siblings-in-law, Betty Wade, Mary Wade, Basil Merner, Michael Davis, Pat Hearn and Frank Hearn; and her great-nephews, Davis Didham and Kyle Tremblett.

She is survived by: her husband Tom; her children, Frank Downey (Mary), Ken Downey (Roxanne), Glen Hearn (Wanda) and Karen Ellis (Rick); her siblings, Anna Marie Davis, Marion Bonia (Allen), Raymond Wade and John Wade; her siblings-in-law, Helen Wade, Dorothy Wade, Marie Rager, Margaret Bradbury, Margaret Hearn and Webb Hearn (Isabelle); and her grandchildren, Kyle (Vanessa), Lucas (Natlie), Mackenzie (Kickland), Jorja, Leah, Hallie and Sofie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
