She was predeceased by: her husband Fabian Slaney; her sons, Gerard, Fabian Jr. (Sonny) and Rene Slaney; her parents, Philip Haley and Dorothy Haley; and her siblings, Brendan, Frank, Leo Haley, Suzanne Goris, Lucy Martel, Bride Maheu and Madonna Samson.
She is survived by: her children, Barry Slaney of Edmonton, AB, Guy Gregory Slaney (GG) of Bathurst, NB, Sharon Mirault (Jules) of Sops Arm, Elaine Slaney-Ferrie (Al) of Botwood, Donna Ferrie (Chris) of Fox Cove and Nicky Tarrant (Kerry) of Lawn; her grandchildren, Monique (Maurice), Serge (Marika), Glenn, Elias, Lenna (Matt), Louise (Patrick), Cynthia, Christopher, Josh (Ashley), Clay, Holly and Kelsey; her sister Bernice Blunt (Charles) of Texas; and her niece Lucienne Goris of Montreal.
