He is survived by: his son Gary Murphy (Marylou) of Little Bay; his grandchildren, Stephanie Murphy of St. John's and Brandon Murphy (Selina Lake) of St. John's; his great grandchild Hailee; and his sisters, Frances Stimpson, Elizabeth Doody and Susie Murphy.
