He was predeceased by: his mother Theresa Cheeseman; his grandparents, Michael and Bridget Cheeseman; his uncles, Gordon and Cyril Cheeseman; and his stepbrother Joseph Wilson.

He is survived by: his wife Laura; his children, Wade Cheeseman of Marystown, Brad Cheeseman (Vanessa) of Fort McMurray, AB, Sandra Maidment (Walter) of St. John's, Kelly Pardy (Kevin) of Marystown and Michelle Racine of Halifax, NS; his grandchildren, Jasmine Pardy, Mitchell Maidment, Jenna Racine, Joshua Pardy, Summer Racine and Molly Cheeseman; and his stepsisters, Jayne Demeester (Mike) of Ontario and Marilyn Lavery of Ontario.

In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place on Wednesday, August 19th, 2020 from 10am – 4pm and 6pm – 9pm.
