With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melinda Hatcher of Marystown, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 21, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her daughters, Trina Byrde (Jim Manning) of Burin, Krista Hatcher of Marystown and Sheranda Hatcher (John Turner) of Marystown; her grandchildren, Keshia (Gardner) of Nova Scotia, Ocean (Cody) of St. John's, Micoya (Andrew), Landin, Dakota and Joshua; her siblings, Daphne Matthews (Robert) of Burin, Kelly Byrde of Marystown, Ada Hickey (Charles) of Terrenceville and Will Byrne (Carolann) of St. John's; her husband Emmanuel; her parents, Mary and Freeman; and her brother Rodney.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Melinda's memory may be made to the family.
