It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Smith of Marystown, Newfoundland, who passed away on July 11, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bill Smith; her parents, Richard Dober and Catherine Dober; her parents-in-law, Julia and Philip Smith; her siblings, Alban, Jerry Dober and Josephine Power; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Smith, Frank Farrell, Edward Brenton, Patricia Smith, Mary Ellen Power and Phyllis Bowering.
She is survived by: her sons, Colin Smith of Toronto, ON and Rick Smith of Paradise; her siblings, Helen Brenton of Burin, Betty Farrell of Little Bay, Frank Dober (Diane) of Spanish Room and George Dober of Nova Scotia; and her sisters-in-law, Jessie Dober of Stephenville, Theresa Smith of Marystown and Stella Ernest of New York.
In Mary's memory, in-lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Roman Catholic Pastoral Care Foundation.
