She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Hodder; her significant other Clayton Penney; her parents, Joseph Pittman and Elizabeth Pittman (Drake); her siblings, Ellen, Joseph and John; and her siblings-in-law, Maisie, Rebecca and Ray.
She is survived by: her daughters, Irene Hodder (Jerome Fewer) and Bridget Hodder (Danny Myles); her grandchildren, Sammi-Jo Hodder, Mary Beth Hodder, Josh Fewer and Sam Barry (Brianna Antle); her siblings, Loretta Roberts (Bernard), Richard Pittman (Helene), Don Pittman (Carol), Hughie Pittman (Marianne) and Leonard Pittman (Sophia); her nieces and nephews, Shantha, Jacintha, Chandini, Harmony, Joanne, Wanda Lee, Trista, Stephanie, Jasmine, Nikki, Joey, Jeffrey, Donald, Ryan, Brandon, Leonard Jr., Jonathan, Aiyah, Anna, Ellen, Ally, Morgan of Declan, DJ, Griffin, Jessica, Pamela, Madison and Mackenzie; her siblings-in-law, Magdalene, Linda, Charlotte, Jean, Phyllis, Effie, Mary and Tom; her close friends, Shelly Brake and Michelle Stacey; and also, Shannon Smith (Adam), Mason and Kiera Smith.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (286 Ville Marie Dr, Marystown, NL A0E2M0).
In Mary's memory, donations can be made to the Hodder family in her honor and then will be donated to the charities that she has chosen.
