He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jeanette; his children, Gary Saunders of Marystown, Sandra House (Nicholas) of Grand Bank, Susanne Saunders (Richard Rafuse) of Chester, NS and Tina Moulton (Barry) of Burin; his grandchildren, Dennis Sheppard (Stephanie Kelly), Nikita Hillier (Jamie), Nicole House, Danielle Savoury (Cameron) and Jack Saunders; his great grandchildren, Naomi, Kasen, Khye and Amelia; his siblings, Harriet Coombs of Grand Bank and Chesley Saunders (Lillian) of Grand Bank; his parents, Frances Saunders and George Saunders; his brother-in-law Fred Coombs Sr.; and his grandson-in-law Scott Dicks.
