It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John James Farrell of Marystown, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary; his father Martin Farrell (Dober); and his brothers, Martin, Joseph and John-Thomas Farrell.
He is survived by: his brother Joe; his parents-in-law, Sadie and Martin White; his siblings-in-law, Mike, Tim, Paul White and Loretta (Patrick Farrell); his children, Sean (Alison) and Sharon (Tim); his grandchildren, J. D., Sam, Olivia and Cecelia; his siblings, Nora Lake (Peter), Bern (Marg), Norman and Clarence Farrell (Mary-Lou Bennett); and his siblings-in-law, Brendan (Mary), Peg (Glen), Marie (Mark), Sis, Melvina Farrell, Bernice and Shirley White.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM, on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Marystown (20-22 Creston Blvd #20, Marystown, NL A0E2M0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church (286 Ville Marie Dr, Marystown, NL A0E2M0). A burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart R. C. Cemetery.
