He was predeceased by: his parents, Cornelius Mitchell and Elizabeth Mitchell (Power); and his siblings, William Mitchell, Mary Slaunwhite, Christina Vaters, Annie Tobin and Lydia King.
He is survived by: his children, Dwayne Mitchell (Karen) of Woodstock, ON and Deanna Gingrich (Chris) of Waterloo, ON; his grandsons, Keegan Gingrich, Logan Gingrich, Gabriel Mitchell, Branson Mitchell and Cole Mitchell; and his sisters, Theresa Pike (Randell) and Elizabeth Nolan.
Due to the current Public Health Advisory of COVID-19 a private family burial will take place.
