She was predeceased by: her parents, James Stewart and Annabella Stewart; her parents-in-law, Ivy and Eunice Newport; her stepfather-in-law Charlie Grandy; and her brothers-in-law, Melvin Osbourne, Lorne Welsh and Tom Newport.

She is survived by: her husband Howard; her sons, Tony (Marylynn) of Toronto, Jim (Michelle) of Ft. McMurray and Jason of Marystown; her grandchildren, Chloe, Hayley, Joshua, Zachery, Tanner, Jacob and Dillon; her siblings, Betty Osbourne of Grand Bank, Pearl Follett (Hubert) of Grand Beach, Bertha Grandy (Ralph) of Frenchman's Cove, Bonnie Keeping (George) of Fortune, Murdoch Stewart (Velma) of Grand Bank and Howard Stewart (Marg) of Marystown; and her siblings-in-law, Ray Newport (Marjorie) of Salt Pond, Nina Welsh of Cambellton, Irene Grandy of Garnish and Margaret Penny (Frank) of Charlottetown.
