He was predeceased by: his wife Amelia Brushett; his parents, Fred Brushett and Maud Brushett; his parents-in-law, Burt and Annie Marshall; and his brothers, Alfred and Roy Brushett.
He is survived by: his children, Earl Brushett (Susan) of Winterland, Perry Brushett (Paula) of Lewin's Cove and Heather Lane (Gus) of Winterland; his grandchildren, Ryan, Peggy (Joe), Megan (Jason), Tara (Chris), Zachary, Jordan (Michelle), Josh (Matthew) and Joshua (Sabrina); his great grandchildren, Amber of Alyssa, JJ, Cassius, Amelia, Callum, Jay, Rachel and Xavier; his sister Beulah; and his sister-in-law Belle Moulton.
In George's memory, in-lieu of flowers donations may be made to the United Church Memorial Fund.
